• To provide knowledge of Chemistry for acquiring a Basic Science Degree to get eligibility for future studies.
• To provide minimum knowledge of Chemistry in day to day life.
• To offer a good synchronization between theory and practical aspects of the subject within the purview of the curriculum.
• To give assignments and project works to the students.
• The department devises its own activities such as quizzes, debates and discussions on current issues.
