The College, to begin with, offered courses in Arts and Commerce with B.A.(History, Economics & Political Science) and B.Com.(General). A Restructured Science Course in B.Sc. with (Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science) was started in 1995.
The new Restructured course B.Sc. with (Chemistry, Botany & Bio.Technology) was introduced in 2007 with the financial assistance of the state Government. The college has further started functioning two additional conventional courses B.Sc.(Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) and B.Sc.(Chemistry, Botany & Zoology) with effect from the academic year 2015-16.
 Telugu language is a main language and largely spoken as a mother tongue in Telugu states since time immemorial. All the UG programmes of our college students got high level of result and academic achievements with enriching programme outcomes. The Department of Telugu strives to nurture excellence in teaching and learning in the field of Telugu language and literary studies in particular and in the allied.
It has freedom also in planning and organizing, curricular and co-curricular activities like Seminars, Assignments, Quiz, Debates, Group Discussions, ICT based teaching, Guest Lectures and Extension Activities etc.
