DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

The college was established on 20thDec, 1984 through a Government Order vide G.O.Ms.No.306 Edn.Dt.19.07.1983, a restructured course offered in Science stream with Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science Combination with an intake of 30 students to enrich the knowledge of Mathematics, Physical Science and Computing Science to face the competition sprits in the IT employment market.
The college has further started functioning one conventional course B.Sc.(Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) with effect from the academic year 2015-16.
The Dept. has the freedom in planning and organizing, curricular and co-curricular activities like Seminars, Assignments, Quiz, Study Projects, Debates, Group Discussions, ICT based teaching, Guest Lectures and Extension Activities etc.
The Dept. also going to adopting new teaching methods and techniques from time to time to improve their student skills.
To improve their performance at University examination we are conducting and analysing the performance at internal examinations.
